Furnished Country Cottage - lodging located in the Ithaca, NY - Wine Country. Cayuga Lake, Finger Lake Region of New York State. Near Ithaca, Cortland, Dryden, Groton, Freeville. 10- 15 Mins. Cornell University. Sleeps 4 /cot available Daily/Weekly/Monthly - Two night minimum - In Season - May thru November Rates - Daily - two people $150.00 per night. Three or four persons, $220.00 per night; five persons - $250.00 per night. (NOTE - rates subject to change - call for information 877 224 8422) In Season Rates - Weekly - $550.00 - $650.00 per week. Off Season Rate $450.00 per week - December thru April. Graduation Weekends/Special Event Weekends $850.00 - $1,200.00 per week. In Season Monthly Rate - $1,400.00 - $1,800.00 per month. Off Season Monthly Rate - December thru April - $1,150.00. Excepting special event or graduation times. Please call 877 224 8422 *Note: These rates do not reflex the State Sales Tax or Local Room Taxes. These taxes will be applied to you bill. Children over the age of 12 -17 years may stay free. Sorry no children under the age of 12 years Graduation/Special Events. We do not have sleeping accommodations for infants or small children. Rental of the cottage does not include use of the pool at the B&B. Breakfast can be arranged at the B&B for an extra charge, but breakfast must be arranged in advance. $10.00 per person, per day. Breakfast is served at 9 am daily at the Bed and Breakfast. The breakfast service is only for daily rental guests, not weekly or longer term. |

Historical Information Amanda's Countryside Cottage is a Greek Revival Farmhouse, typical of those found thoughout the countryside of New York State. Adjacent to Bountiful Blessings Bed and Breakfast, and land adjacent to Stonehedge's Golf Course, Amanda's Cottage will provide comfortable and spacious accommodations during your stay in the Finger Lakes. According to Landmarks of Tompkins County, Amanda and Scotsman, John McKellar, built a "fine home". The "little house" as it was called for many years is now Amanda's Cottage, named after John's wife Amanda Halliday. Our cottage is available as an accommodation, one that truly offers guests an opportunity to experience, for themselves, what it was like to live in the lush, green countryside of NY. John McKellar was a properous farmer and businessman. It is said that he raised race horses.His estate included what is now Bountiful Blessings Bed and Breakfast and Amanda's Countryside Cottage. It is located on nealy six acres. The rest of the original farm is now Stonehedge's Golf Couse, a community operated golf course, that is open to the public. |
